My work focuses around the abandoned, time, memory, and space.

Abandoned buildings resonate a number of emotions within me, aesthetically I find them alluring full of possibilities, peeling paint, rust, graffiti and forgotten objects are just some of the things I can take from a derelict building, and incorporate into my own practice.

I endeavour to gain a connection with the past through the places I choose to work in. I often feel saddened by how these buildings have been left to rot away, taking with them are people’s memories and history. Through my practice I attempt to give the spaces a sense of life back, by looking at what once was and re-exploring them in there new form. I aim to persuade the viewer to look beyond these abandoned spaces which are often considered "eyesores" and through my work  contemplate the past and there rich history.

My work takes a variety of forms from stitch, installation and photography.
