2009. Textured mixed media paintings inspired by weathered walls in Manchester. Inspired by the back streets of Manchester, i used found materials including wire wool, tissue paper, and receipts to name a few. I layered them on reclaimed canvases and paper and using acrylic paint and ink I submerged them into the surface.
