I worked with a group of fifteen home education children aged from 4-15 over a period of four weeks as part of the Irwell sculpture trail programme. During my time with the group I planned and conducted four workshops inspired by my own practice, and responding to the Irwell sculpture trail. I had to carefully plan each workshop and cater them to the varied age range of the group. My first workshop was inspired by the way I start the majority of my own work, I took the group around a local park in Salford and had them collect materials that they could either use as an implement to paint or draw with or materials they could include into mixed media paintings.
